It looks like more exhibitors have got on board which is good. It is implied that exhibitors will vary for each show.
The Brisbane show starts in a week but there's still no programme for it on the website.

Good to see Phoenix Exhibitions have finally taken up the offer of free advertising in their own forum.
Unfortunately there's it's a bit late for the show next week and there's no discounted entry for members as we always had.
No real information for members or encouragement to visit other than flyers and links to social media sites.
There's a post in Melb Show thread putting in a flyer for Melbourne 2019
I did see a wildly ridiculous prediction from 10times.com re Melb 2019 with the following:
- Estimated visitors from 20,000 to 50,000
- Estimated exhibitors 500+
Would be fantastic to see those figures. But.....
In the 20+ years Pauline and I did the shows we never saw figures like that, in fact at some shows we barely saw 2,000 visitors and NEVER, EVER, EVER was there anywhere near 500 exhibitors let alone 500+ at a guess the most would never have even made it over about 150 if that.
Come on Phoenix Exhibitions. What about making full use of one of the best formats available to advertise and promote the shows to those who have supported them through thick and thin for the past 30 years.KEEP A LID ON THE GARBAGE... Report spam, scams, and inappropriate posts, PMs and Blogs.

They have a facebook page but they have not made it open to the public. I'm not a member of facebook so that page may as well not exist.
I agree with you that this forum is one of the best ways to reach woodworkers.
Their real web page was easy to find.
I did get along to the first day of the Brisbane show and made a video and posted on my YouTube channel. https://youtu.be/Qm3LbScbjhc
I have also tried to encourage people to go along because the organisers are clearly trying to adopt suggestions. If we don't turn up then I imagine it will die out.

I helped out on the IWCS stand this year, apart from to help, to see what it was like as I haven't gone for 5 years or more. Certainly still a lot smaller than in its prime many years ago but I enjoyed it.
There were 4 wood sellers that were all offering good timbers at pretty good prices compatible with Maleny, one even came all the way from WA selling WA timbers. There were a reasonable number of wood working gear sellers, a couple of resin sellers and quite a few other artisan stalls, but lots of demonstrations similar to the way it used to be. The food vendors were good I thought giving enough variation of sellers although I'm not sure they would have been happy as the queues were never long.
I was only there on the first day and there were heaps of people attending up to lunch time when it dropped dramatically, then it unfortunately died around 2pm.
My shock was the parking. It was in a multilevel carpark that had automatic numberplate recognition. There were no signs about costs (is that even legal?) and as there were no tickets I had assumed it was free. It was actually free for vendors who parked some where else but no-one told me about that. At the end of the day everyone was guessing as to how much it was, and for the full day like me, $25!! At the show a few people had told me $16 but that must have been for a half day.Neil____________________________________________Every day presents an opportunity to learn something new

Yes I forgot to mention the parking. I also was not happy about no pricing on entry. I knew they would charge something being in Albion but they never said what. I was only there a few hours as it was a work day. About 3 hours or so. They charged me $20. What a rip off! I think at the end of the day the parking charges could kill this show. It was a hot humid day and in any case, I bought some timber. Which surely is the whole idea of it. It would be ridiculous to suggest show goers get a train to the show.
The reality is that for that kind of show, everyone will go by car.
I realise this is beyond the control of the organisers so I forgot to mention it before. They would be better off holding it at the state land in Carseldine or the Rocklea market area or in Eagle Farm or Northshore Hamilton or the Entertainment Center or perhaps there is an area near the port or somewhere like that where $1 parking could be organised.

I had a look at John's video which looked very good except for the lack of people in attendance when the video done....
The new wood show looked promising but if folk don't attend the vendors, demonstrators & clubs won't either and that's the end of the show....
I hope the final actual attendance is posted with the feedback from the vendors, demonstrators & clubs....
Cheers, crowie.
PS - I follow the show Instagram account and it has been heavily promoted there.

I hope the remaining shows this year and following years are properly and adequately advertised and planned.
I hoped there is adequate ventilation, better than at Brisbane.
I hope that there are more demonstrations than there was at Brisbane, they don't have to be famous people, rather people showing off the things being sold is a start.
I offer/challenge the organisers to ask for assistance with planning the new shows, to make them a success, and not another failure.
