I shall be there Saturday and Sunday, based in Chris Vesper's booth - come around and say hi. I shall likely also be doing a few demos for Lie Nielsen. You are welcome to go there and heckle, throw your underwear or money!

Oh, and vote for my piece in the furniture competition!

    Regards from Perth

Getting closer, putting a collection of boring tools together for my display at the HTPSWA stand, found an old pair of undies to throw at Derek, and as he said come along and say hi.
    Cheers,
    Geoff.

Thats the spirit. Now if we can get a few more.

Although would be better if you had a clean pair and not ones covered in oil and paint. At least that what my father used, when he done with them.

Getting set up yesterday and saw this pushbike next to our stand. Wooden frame made from WA Marri (Corymbia Calophylla). They told me the owner had ridden it 50km the day before.

The other two are a photo, through the perspex, of my display and a view of the sales department.
    See you there.

Likewise John, thanks for dropping by. Busy day today, didn't have time to take any photos, and having watched Derek's lingerie chest build over the months was great to see it in the "flesh". Good, also, to see some of the fine woodwork done by school students and see them walking out with timber purchases for future projects.
I'm looking forward to catching up with some more friends tomorrow and Sunday.
    Cheers,
    Geoff.

Well it's all over for another year, and from what I saw of it it was a successful show. The HTPSWA sales tables attracted a lot of interest, I even managed to pick up a couple of bargains. I demonstrated the use of chain drill, spoke pointer, tennon cutter and spoke shave in the making of rough bush mallets, which I gave away to anyone who had the patience to stand there watching for 20 minutes.

I was hoping to see Pmcgee, I've been carrying around a set of jaws for a MF No 32 brace to give him for the last couple of years.

The photos, first, yours truly shaping the handle of a mallet, (note to self: pull stomach in when the camera is around) 2nd an overview of our area with the sales tables and display/demo area behind, and the last two are of some of the beautiful work on display at the show.
    See youse next year.
    Geoff.
