blood tests
A friend of mine had a series of blood tests, I insisted that he go back and get the results, he said if there was anything serious they would call him.
Upon visiting a local dentist, he was told that his gums were receding upwards - cost 3 grand, he thought .
So off he goes back to the doctor, she tells him the blood results showed he was very low in Vitamin C, which leads to Scurvy, he asked about the gums receding, she said take vitamin C supplements.
Also choice another dentist, this guy doesn't eat a lot of veges or fruit, (virtually none), loves pies, chips, processed meats, white bread etc.
He also has the worst memory, so I'm not sure if thats related to his diet etc, but I do wonder
The strange thing is, he has never had a single niggle/injury, doesn't exercise and is strong as a bull, so go figure
Heart disease runs in his family, the other blood results showed nothing abnormal, but cholesterol was up a tad.
I keep saying, you won't enjoy your retirement if you don't start to look after yourself.
It is none of my business but I'm just trying to help.
Any rate, eat your veges and fruit or take some Vit-c
