I have been a CPAP user since about 2005. Most of us find trying to sleep with the mask a pain in the butt and friends I know gave up. That was not an option for me as my apnea gave me headaches sometimes quite bad. It took several years to get used to it and accept it. I have even got the 12v adaptor for camping.
I don't know which country you are in but here in Australia there is huge price gouging for CPAP equipment. I changed from my second mask ( always had issues because I have a moustache and beard) to a nasal plugs(not correct name??). I was staggered at the price quoted so went on the net and found a supplier who happened to be in Florida USA for well under half price. Imagine my shock when I opened the package to find the mask in its original package, marked packed by Resmed in Sydney Australia.
I have since also replaced and updated over the years on two occasions my Resmed CPAP unit, both times including postage for under half the price offered in Australian and with a better warranty.
Now the secret is out.
