another health scare thread.
Thanks for all the good wishes in the other thread guys. It puts a smile on my face after a rather long and bleak day. It was only last week I was replying to the thread about what I would want to happen to all my stuff if I went. After a splitting headache yesterday I woke early this morning and promptly passed out 3 times before behing bought to hospital. After many tests, eeg, ct scan, xrays, blood tests, more blood tests, the doctor did a lumber puncture, and it turns out I have meningitis. The only painkiller that is working is morphine, so I'm a bit spacey.
Please guys, keep up the interesting posts, its great to have something to read.
Bruce, I worked out how to access older emails so I have asked frank about the holders and wire's. You must have seen my order as I ordered all three too.1915 17"x50" LeBlond heavy duty Lathe, 24" Queen city shaper, 1970's G Vernier FV.3.TO Universal Mill, 1958 Blohm HFS 6 surface grinder, 1942 Rivett 715 Lathe, 14"x40" Antrac Lathe, Startrite H225 Bandsaw, 1949 Hercus Camelback Drill press, 1947 Holbrook C10 Lathe.

Does that mean that the flower business is dangerous and you need to stick to machine tools?

Ewan
Thanks, I do hope things improve for you.
Often we take good health for granted, until things go wrong. We are not like machines where a bit more grease may be the solution, but the body has an amazing ability to heal.
I did not see your order to Frank, but have noticed, that I think along similiar lines to yourself.
Sometime back you asked for more info & photos on the Sine Bar set up I use on the Hercus Lathe.
I have not forgotten your request. Its just that Ive been away camping caravaning in the wilds for a couple of weeks.
All the best
regards
Bruce

He he, I need a little lathe like Ben "bwal" recently acquired, its about all I could fit in here!
It felt like they used some lumber working tools too! I won't go into details about the size of the needle, but damn! That thing was scarey.
Thanks for all the warm wishes guys, and no Matt, I'm not feeling up to chasing the nurses.......yet1915 17"x50" LeBlond heavy duty Lathe, 24" Queen city shaper, 1970's G Vernier FV.3.TO Universal Mill, 1958 Blohm HFS 6 surface grinder, 1942 Rivett 715 Lathe, 14"x40" Antrac Lathe, Startrite H225 Bandsaw, 1949 Hercus Camelback Drill press, 1947 Holbrook C10 Lathe.
