I was going to comment that the posts were a "slightly" uneven height. While this might present a problem for a five wire fence, I am surmising that it is not an issue for a retaining wall and I think the intention is to cut off the posts with an angle grinder after the corro is in place.
One thing with modern corrugated iron, not that it will deter in this instance I am sure, is that Zincalume does not like to be in touch with the ground. It accelerates corrosion. Water tanks, for example, need to be elevated off the ground if premature failure is to be avoided. Actually, they need an Aqua plate lining too as the dust sediment from a rooftop equates to contact with the earth. Having said that, I don't see very many small tanks offered in Zincalume today: Just the big tanks and they have an internal liner.

Suburban Kids, buy Large paddock with Know idea.
Immmm this kind of like the mothers club on first day of school moaning about this an that with out seeing the end results , when little Jonny the Brad walks out with straight A,s.
Yep [emoji849] the posts are going too meet an angry grinder [emoji6](when I’m confident I’m not going too burn Wedderburn too the ground).
As for the rust issue ye not bothered, but I’m sure from a theoretical point of view , ye still not interested.
Also someone mentioned that maybe the ground will move in winter,um I’m not a Civil engineer buy any degree, but my gut feeling ain’t going to happen, unless the earth opens up.
I hope I’m not sounding too anti sociable hear, maybe I need too stop listening too the Sex pistols lol.
Cheers Matt.
Paul your suggestion of the Concrete Rio , genius I love it.

Any geological experts in the house,?
Two things I’ve noticed, first is these strange orange patches on the ground, there’s only a few, but there been there for awhile, are they Iron deposit’s, can I sell the property too a mining company for a massive profit $$$.
Second is look’s like we’re super dry an we have earth cracks coming?
Possibly showing massive gold nuggets??[emoji41].
So it’s been a few interesting months , about 4 so far first few weeks, I was considering building an Ark, now we have had quite a few days in the high 30,s a few pushing over 40 degrees.
An none of this was in the Glossy brochures.
Cheers Matt.

Matt
I think the cracks are just indicative of an expansive soil, which is probably a clay type. I don't know what your orange patches are. Possibly in the past some material has been stored in that area and the residue is surfacing. Just a wild guess.

What colour is the soil next to the orange patches? Can't see through the lush grass.

I wonder if the orange patches are ants nests? Maybe nocturnal if there's no activity during the day. The cracked ground looks a bit like an Indian cricket pitch.
Cheers,
Geoff.

Do the orange spots go down any depth or are they more or less just a sprinkle on the surface?
'Cos they look to me like spots where bags o' fertilizer or similar stuff have been left stacked for a year or six in the sun.

Probably irrelevant to your orange patch Matt, but, yesterday, I took this photo of a termite nest where it comes to the surface at my place.
Cheers,
Geoff.
