Condolences mate.
We love out dogs - try not to think about them needing to pass on but it will happen one day.
Thinking of all the good times i've had with them helps.

Sorry to read of your loss, my condolences.

Hi,
My condolences.
You get a lump in the throat at the most unexpected times. A couple of days ago I checked to see if the pictures in the "RIP Pippa" post were among the missing in action, they were, and I reread the answers of sympathy and had a bigger reaction of grief than when she passed away on my lap at the Vet's four years ago.
RegardsHugh

Its never easy to have to say goodbye to our old mates. I had to put down our Kelpie/Alsatian back in 2000. He was 17. We still talk about him now. They sure do have a big impact on our lives
Just do it!
Kind regards Rod

So sorry for your loss!
I know this is an old thread but it caught my eye. I had no idea this forum had so many sections.
It's been a while since your loss so hope your heart has healed some.
We lost our girl last year also and I was devastated. Still am.
Dogs live in the present moment.
They teach US how to play.
They teach us patience, understanding and how to love unconditionally
I've never loved anything in my life as much as this silver bundle of joy.
My heart almost stops whenever I think of her.
She was epileptic , diabetic and blind and she meant the world to me image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg
Sorry. I just wanted a safe place to share my loss also. It's truly heartbreaking losing a beloved family dog.

Sorry to hear about your dog and I liked your sentiments about them too.
We are nuts about ours.
I've posted this photo before but in case you haven't seen it.
They're waiting for me to throw a ball.

I dont have a pic of us looking over my left shoulder
We dont have pics of them playing when we brought our home
My phone is not full of pics of the current lot, in the shed supervising, with their eyes closed . . .
I dont remember Dad's first Dog, my brother, when I was young . . . much!Pat
