Default Antique Furniture - please help identify timber

Antique table from early 1900's. Could you please look at the grain and tell me what it is?

I'd call it Australian Red Cedar based on the bulk of the pictures, particularly the chair ones. Chance of Honduran Mahogany but style/period/ point of origin all point to high end domestic and ARC was the most valuable timber in the world at that time.

Nice. I like it. I hope you cherish it because that one is worth some love.

    Thank you John, much appreciated.

I do love and cherish all things antique. I just wish I knew what timber was used. Some of the chairs are a bit wobbly, so I need to get them repaired.

I think the entrance table and mirror are walnut. The rest I'm not so sure.

I think the table is walnut.
The chairs are oak, a little hard to tell due to the refinishing, but I still think they are European oak.

Is the timber soft or hard, heavy or light?
    Apologies for unnoticed autocomplete errors.
