Geese Rob, ya going to murder nice big slabs like that to make pen blanks??? Heck, they'd be worth more as a slab surely?
If you go with $2,000 a cube, that's about $130 for a 2" slab...
It's your timber but it might be worth more keeping it as a slab???I love my Lucas!! ...just ask me!
Allan.

Blue Gum is a complete PITA to work. Tearout everywhere and hard as buggery.
When turning u need really sharp tools and watch for split offs.
It is a beautiful result when finished, but sometimes I wonder if its worth the finishing etc.
I'm with Sigidi on this one.Bodgy
