Thread: Brisbane Timber Suppliers?

Hi all,

I'm a relatively new woodworker and I have mostly been completing refurbishment and refinishing projects on pieces of furniture that i've picked up for good prices second hand.

I'm wanting to branch out and start some projects from scratch and am struggling to work out a good supplier of timber in the Brisbane area. I'm on the inner north side but I don't mind driving to get some decent supply. Does anyone have any recommendations of timber suppliers around? I'm hoping to find some timber that's at least 2 side dressed as i do not have a jointer and am wanting to have a bit easier run into my first projects. I'm after some Tasmanian Oak or Victorian Ask and possibly some Spotted Gum.
