Places to Buy Dressed Hardwood - Blue Mountains/Western Sydney Area
Hi all,
A friend has asked me to build some furniture as a wedding gift for them which I will happily do.
The only catch I've got is I'm not sure where to buy the timber.
Looking to get some light tone hardwood once they decide on species in 18-19mm thickness.
I'm located in the Blue Mountains NSW and know of Trend Timbers in Richmond and Matthew's Timber in St Mary's.
Any other recommendations?

Along with the two you have indicated, there's a timber merchant in Batt Street, Penrith
Penrith Timber & Hardware
Also there is this lot at Marrickville
Anagote Timbers, Marrickville | Timber Sydney
I have a good number of 250x30mm Iron Bark sawn boards at my place from an 80yr old tree that'd been dead a year....
Cheers, crowie
