Drive around the neighbourhood on a weekend and see who's pruning?
PeterThe other day I described to my daughter how to find something in the garage by saying "It's right near my big saw". A few minutes later she came back to ask: "Do you mean the black one, the green one, or the blue one?".

Start collecting green offcuts from tree trimming and removals. Rough turn them to approx shape, and then put them up to dry for a couple of months. A rough turned bowl will dry much faster than a solid blank. So after a couple of months of collecting and turning green stuff you will have dry pieces to remount, true up and finish. By turning them green you are also more likely to dry the pieces intact.
