Curly Jarrah & Maple?
Hey Guys,
One question about the stability of these two. I am currently designing a large tool chest that will be made to house my tools (when I get them, saving to get them in one hit).
My question is in regard to the stability of the wood after machining. I have it on a good note that the Jarrah (not know about the Maple) will end up twisting or bowing if not properly stored after machining. Is this the case and if so how should I go about storing it when the project is underway.
Another question about the timber is would it be wise to finish all the parts of the tool chest prior to any joint making/cutting to minimize the movement? E.g Machine it up, sand it and finish it before I cut the mortises of sliding dovetails?
Thanks for any input.

Rock Maple or Queenland maple or what?
If the timber is dry and accustomed to your workshop and the humidity is constant then it should be fine.
