    Default Cyclone generated logs

Mal from Boutique Timbers purchases full semis of logs from N Qld, (Mackay cedar, red cedar, pink silky oak, Qld walnut, Qld maple mango etc. etc.)

Following on from the recent cyclone with its massive damage path, he would be interested to hear from anyone who may be able to put him onto a tree lopper or other who could put together semi loads of logs.
Call him on 0265 858296 or let me know through the forum
    .....It's an ill wind....

    Regards.

    Greg,
I have my doubts that there will be much, if any available. My mate the tree lopper, who was a primary source for me has gone from running a 4 man crew with chipper, bucket truck and crane truck in the field to being in the office running about 20 crews and his boss is doing the same. Stuff is being cut up and chipped faster than you can say "can I have that log.....". Cliff had firies come to his place while he was out and dock up a Grevillea Robusta log into useless lengths . I haven't managed to pick up a single log for myself.

    Mick.

Having seen the aftermath of a couple of smallish cyclones, I thought that might be the case. ususally the priority is just to get the placed cleared. I had a discussion with my partner as the cyclone was approaching about doing just what Greg and his partner Mal want to do, but we decided the logistics would be too complex.
    Cheers,
    Craig
