Any of their Mallees. Burls in particular

(Do they grow anything else? )
I may be weird, but I'm saving up to become eccentric.

You might be surprised...the Flinders Rangers has quite a few differing species, yes there are no native tree's that are considered for commercial logging other than some eucalyptus's.

I know i'm going to cop it by saying Radiata Pine, but someone has to say it, afterall there is plenty of furniture made from the stuff.

Personally when i've made furniture i've used something that comes from interstate. I am a lover of Tasmanian Blackwood.

    Regards from Adelaide

Radiata is a good timber if you eliminate unsuitable defects
