Really like the Red hues in the Tassie stuff Jason
The colours you get are certainly different to what I have milled locally, although there is a considerable colour variation within the species here as well
I reckon the Green hues are stunning but also get Pink and a variety of Browns as well
Wonder if in fact they are a slightly different species to one another
Up here the form is also different as opposed to the long stately stems that grow down your way
Any which way...Acacia genus produces the most glorious timbers on this great planet of ours...and the species Melanoxylon is up with the best of them
Keep milling the 'good stuff' old mate...MMMapleman

40x100x2500. Its mostly 40x50, 40x100 and 40x200 with a few 55x100 and 250. When I dont have an order I cut sizes that could be used for a few different things from knife handles through to guitars. I might put a few blocks of this stuff in the forum market place some time soon.
Jason.
