Thread: Free Huon Pine

Hi All
I have recently had to clean out my grandfathers house due to him moving into the local nursing home and the house is on the market.
He was a carpenter by trade and had a lifetime of timber horded away under his house. There was a alot of Huon some of which I have horded away myself but there is some that I don't really want to store for a rainy day as I know I won't use it.
The piecs are all shorts 200mm-600mm of various sizes, suitable for turning and small jobs like box making etc. I would guess that there is about 2 wheel barrow loads of those and one longer bit of second hand veranda post. Also a couple of nice bits of Sasafrass
I don't really want anything for it but I cant burn it (obviously!) and so I thought a good wood turner or the like would make good of it rather than see this beuatiful stuff go to waste.I
