Default Where to find furniture grade pine in melbourne?

Ok all you wood purchasing melburnians.. I have been asked (commissioned) to construct an entertainment unit and the timber of choice is pine (yeah I know some people have NO imagination!)

So instead of getting the general hardware store grade stuff, I was thinking of goinf FURNITURE grade if the re is such a thing.

Which brings me to the point of my post.. where is the most likely venue to purchase what I require from?
I try and do new things twice.. the first time to see if I can do it.. the second time to see if I like it

Clear pine will cost an arm and a leg.
You can often economically use normal pine and just grade all defects out of it by docking between defects.

    Brudda,

Matthews Timber in Rooks Road Mitcham sells Furniture grade Radiata. One mate told me their "normal radiata" was cheaper, straighter and drier than Bunnings radiata.

You could also look at the building wreckers - some bearers and joists were pine and they come in quite large cross sections, have very few nail holes and provided you have the means to resaw them can be very good timber.
