Giant Blackbutt log
This is blackbutt, tallowood and ironbark country.
This large blackbutt was cleared from a property on the hastings Rover and will provide slabs to 3 metres long by up to to 1.5-7 metres wide.
Makes a change from cutting camphor logs up for cutting boards and table tops.
They'll be ready for sale next year

Long time since I have seen logs like that Good one!!
As a kid on the Nambucca it was an everyday sight to se big to huge
logs being hauled into the local mills. All that big timber has now been
cut out and parts of the forest locked up. Be a long time, if ever, before
anyone sees the likes again.
