Hard Rock Maple in Brisbane
Anyone know where I can get hard rock maple in Brisbane (preferably South Side)?
Want to build myself a new workbench, going to do the traditional European bench from Woodsmith.

Shane - Rock (or Sugar) Maple is a good wood for benches - mine is made of it, but it's going to cost you an arm and a leg to buy that sort of lumber here! We have oodles of good stuff, every bit as good as Maple. If you want a pale bench, why not Blackbutt, and if a bit of colour is your thing, we got a few shades to choose from! What could look better than my friend's bench of figured Redgum (on the vise & legs) and Sydney Bluegum (top).
