Heads up - The floor from Centennial Hall is for sale! (Adelaide)
Adelaideans may know that Centennial Hall in the showgrounds was recently demolished. Well Adelaide and Rural Salvage in Wingfield have got a hold of the jarrah floorboards! It's 75 mm, tongue-and-groove (secret nail profile), and is in pretty good condition. I bought a 600 linear metre pack of the stuff off them for $2400. Apparently they have a couple of thousand squares left. If you like the idea of playing with timber that that the beatles and rolling stones performed on, this is for you!

That's gotta be one hellova lot of timber. And $4 per metre sounds ok. What's the width and thickness?
Those are my principles, and if you don't like them . . . well, I have others.

Careful Zenwood, they may be stained with some of my blood, sweat and tears. Although on second thought, once you get your sander back any surface stains will be quickly eradicated.
