    Default Huon Pine brag

Weep ye splinter makers! Drooling, slobbering...
I picked up 2/3 rds of a cubic metre of huon pine slabs (up to 2.1m x 500mm x 75mm) for 800 bucks. Bartered it for 35 hours labour.

    35 hours doing what?

Sounds like a good deal but 35 hours on a pick & shovel may not be.

preparing 3 rooms in an old tumble down place for plastering. Demolition work. I love it...makes a break from precise woodwork projects. Plus i can release a lot of tension and stress wrecking stuff.

Mike, if I remember correctly, you hurt yourself a fair bit, when you use yourself as a human wrecking ball. You better send the Huon up here to join the bit I got off you last time
