Uses for ironbark?
Hi guys,
I've got a couple of pretty decent pieces of ironbark
1 @ 1600x220x45 (grey)
1 @ 3300x175x38 (grey)
1 @ 600x38x300 (red)
They were thrown in when I picked up a nice collection of spotted gum from a guy recently, and now I'm trying to work out what I can use it for.
I was thinking of making a couple of end-grain cutting boards, but is this stuff too hard? It's like stone!
Otherwise what is it good for?

keep the 225x45 intact: its worth more as a step tread then it is hacked into cutting boards.
