    Default Jarrah for toy chest

I wanted to build a toy chest for my son and thought recycled jarrah would be a great idea. I am not sure of the benefits of this versus new and have been looking at the forums for pricing and am very confused. There are an number of people selling slabs by the cubic meter and am not sure what a fair price really is? Where is the best place to get information on this and how do you go a bout choosing decent wood that will last? Sorry but new to the country and need help!!!

jarrah is a very beautiful timber. It is a hardwood, will wear well and last for many years, especially as a toy chest.

I would suggest you look into recylced jarrah. have a look at this post by BobL. It may give you some ideas.
