Hello, Found this photo, taken about 5 years ago, under all those bricks.
DSC00282 (2013_07_16 08_59_49 UTC).jpg
Lays a large slab of Blackwood, the bloke that milled it waited 20 years for the tree to fall over, before approaching the owners.

The dog is mine (Bella, Kelpie/CollieX), our young bloke brought the slab for $300 Inc stretchers and the bloke milled up some 8x8" legs for him but the young fella still hasn't picked them up
It is to be made into a table - one day,(once he has finished renovating the outside entertainment area) it has a large crack/split down the guts, but some butterfly keys or epoxy will do the job.
It's about 3000 x 700 x 50 or 60mm, I never had to room to store one of the slabs, so missed out.
Hard to come across Blackwoods that size.
Regards
Stevo
