    Default A little bit of blackwood...

    Just a little piece of figured blackwood. I cant get over the figuring. I think I have the blackwood bug!

    Pretty close I guess. The colours change quite a bit with this figured stuff depending on where you are standing, amount of light etc.

    I wondered, because it looks like either a salmon coloured filter was used, or a different light setting (i.e. not "Sunlight"). Either of those will warm the pic up. Not the case?

    I dont use any filters or enhance any photos I take of my wood. I just put some water on it and stick it in the sun or under a bright lamp and take the photo.

    how/where can I buy something like this in Sydney? and how much can I expect to pay? I'd buy 2 or 3 in one hit if it was available.

    Keep an eye on the for sale section. Theres a piece up there now. I post to Sydney etc.
