What makes this style / Huon pine?
Hi there,
I have a piece of huon that has sort of a striped grain dose any one know what it is called or if it is quarter sawn.

Have a piece like it as well,looks like a fine fiddleback,rather than quarter-sawn grain.Probably from very old Huon i reckon

I have a piece with figure like that too. Someone called it whitebait, don't know the veracity of that. It is q'sawn.
