Mod Wood
I'm trying to find out why Mod Wood seems to get such negative feedback? Will it become more popular in time? Would more people be interested in using the product if it was cheaper? What if it had more uses that just decking and screens, could it be used for fence pailings/pickets?

Hmmm... I reckon that Wheelin's answer will probably be about the norm.
Most forum members - long term ones, anyway - are here because they like working with wood. Carving, sculpting, turning, cabinetry or whatever.
Modwood has it's place but not, I suspect, with many here.

The UV stabilisation agent leave a bit to be desired from all accounts too with an expected life of 10 years until it fades, splits etc.if you always do as you have always done, you will always get what you have always got
