newbie lumber yard search near strathpine (brisbane)
Hi,
I am located near strathpine(Brisbane). I am hoping get into the hobby of woodcraft by starting couple of small project for our house. However when I look for buying wood most of them I came across was for building construction servicing type of suppliers. I was hoping that someone can suggest me couple of places where I can buy some wood which also has some more selection. I wont be getting into exotic stuff immediately, however I would like to look at them and learn about them.
Please advice,
thanks,
- Kumar

G'day Kumar and welcome aboard!!
Lazarides would probably be your best bet. Great people to del with, very knowledgable with a great range of timbers.

Have a look at the place next door to Brittens... they sell a lot of good cabinet timbers and a lot is on consignment, so at the right price.
Cheers
