Nice Blackwood
Milled a knarly blackwood last week. Full of figure. Doesnt look like it in the pic but it has some extra deep 3D effect when you move it around.

Hey Tassy,
Do you have blocks around the 470x180mm or larger dimensions often?
I always get excited when I see your timber for sale but it's always under my required dimensions.

More pics. The lighter ones came from a tree that was mostly rotten inside and I got only a few blocks out of it but when I machined it today I see it actually has some "tiger" markings in the wood that was closest to the rot. Hard to see in the photos...

I cut some blocks out of a crusty old Blackwood on the weekend. Some pretty nice figure in them and even some tiger markings here and there.
