NZ F5 Oregon/Douglas Fir
Is this stuff plantation for forest?
Also, what is best practice if I want to paint it white and not see any knots/grains? (Im thinking table legs)

If it is from New Zealand, it would always be plantation timber. If it's from Canada, its most likely plantation as well.
2nd question: sand it, fill to knots with a filler, paint it with a sealer/undercoast and spray on top coat.

Thanks mate, that's good to hear. Is all timber from NZ plantation?
I really have no experience so if you can suggest quality fillers, sealers or undercoat that would be very much appreciated! In terms of top coat I assume any white paint will do? (I have some white spray paint from super cheap auto
