    Default Paulownia timber

I put a post in the boat building forum seeking information about where to buy Paulownia. I am thinking about building a sea kayak. I got 1 reply from Whitewood that was interesting and another from a member who had a set of plans and knew about Whitewood. However I would like to be in a position to compare Whitewoods prices and range of timber with other suppliers before making a decision.

Does anyone know of any timber suppliers that sell Paulownia who are within approx 300 klms of the Gold Coast. Surely there must be more than Whitewood

I think you'll find it not so easy to find!

Apart from Whitewood, I have previously bought my stuff from these guys:
    http://www.cwcpanels.com.au

    Note Kiri is Paulownia

They have bigger sizes and are in Bulimba.

The prices on their website are nonsensical, give them a call. It would be nice to hear how you got on as well!

    cheers,

    P
