A Very Pleasant Surprise
A couple of weeks ago a posting in the marketplace advertising ringed gidgee for sale caught my eye. Here is the link.
So I visited the website and placed an order for three pen blanks and a knife block.
Earlier this week a package appeared on my doorstep. But in addition to the 4 items I ordered (shown in the 1st picture) were a "few" bonus items (second picture).
All told I'm a very happy camper.

Not sure what has happened to your photos, they are all blue , but the original sale shots certainly showed some nice stuff

Yes, the photos I posted were taken with a mobile phone. I can assure you that the ringed gidgee I received looked every bit as good in person as it did on the website, and the bonus pieces (ringed gidgee, rosewood, beefwood, etc) are all quality items worth paying money for.

So did you tell them off for sending stuff you didn't order?
You know you're making progress when there's sawdust in your coffee.

Yes. Made it very clear this type of thing will not be tolerated. Dared them to try it again.

You just might run into me at the woodworkers club. I'll be the guy not making pens (can do that at home).
