    Some of what I mill goes to guitarmakers. Here's some of my quilted blackwood on a guitar made by Launceston maker Jon Parsons. He does some beautiful work. [emoji106]

    Quilted figure is most often caused by compression stress. I usually find it under a large limb or on a buttressed stump. On very rare occasions you will see it more wide spread on the main trunk.
