Red Cedar and rosewood high quality inch boards
Mal from Boutique Timbers has recently obtained around 23 cube of dry dark Australian red cedar, along with 3-4 cube of rosewood; mainly inch (25mm) thick, straight edged boards, although some 40 mm as well.
Widths vary from 8 inches to 16 inches, most around 12 inches (30mm) the 40 mm thick up to around 20 inches wide.
Lenghs vary from 3 metres, most around 2.5 metres.
Quality is excellent and would suit funiture makers of those needing reasonable quantities of these special timbers.
Delivery anywhere betwen Port Macquarie and Sydney would be free, other areas can be shipped by pallet lot freight on from Sydney, or Port Macquarie.
Let me know by pm if you are interested. Price is $3000/cube for both rosewood and cedar.
He also has available cheaper red cedar natural edged boards, again let me know if anyone is interested.

Please pm me if you have enough 40mm thick, 14" and above wide rosewood to justify a shipment and cost of delivery to Adelaide.

Rosewood and 'what is a cube?'
Yes. A 'cube' is cubic metre of timber, sorry this is how NSW timber sellers refer to this volume.
Yes,
Mal has available Rosewood in both board and slab form in 40mm and 50mm widths, in widths greater than 14 inches.
What quantity would you want? He can't bring any this trip as he has a load of around 10 cube of cedar to deliver and has no space.
Next week he will be at Agquip, but will again be delivering to Sydney after that, perhaps on the way to Canberra wood show.
You can call him on 0416 097 827 and discuss your needs. I'm not sure of the price on the slabs and wider/thicker rosewood boards. they are rare and hard to get.
