    Default Curly & Spalted Jarrah?

Found this diamond in the waste bin.

I'm glad I saved it from turning into sawdust. Why would anyone EVER put this in the wastebin? I don't understand.

I figure that I can scrape four pens out of this gem

The beauty of figured woods never gets old.

A diamond to you, a lump of ruined coal to others.

Nice score! Pens? Hmm... would also make a nice set of knife scales...
I may be weird, but I'm saving up to become eccentric.

Oddly enough.......the piece has the distinct marks from a scrollsaw......on two of its cut sides..

    Thanks

Hmm, yes it would make for nice knife scales....but I think university security would get suspicious though
