Have a look at the timber manufactures website too...

Accoya® is wood, but not as you know it. It is modified timber in which a process called acetylation, a cutting-edge patented technology, enables it to it resist rot, defy the elements and stay strong for decades. Guaranteed for 50 years above ground and 25 years in ground or freshwater, its performance and properties are remarkable. From joinery for the home to bridges submerged in water, Accoya long life wood is a leading material that stands up to every application challenge – decking, wood cladding and more.

Found this bit of info the site says - Its Radiate pine grown in New Zealand and treated with Diluted Vinegar, wonder if its Kilned then steamed with diluted Vinegar?

I sent "Brittons" a email asking for prices, but they would only speak over the phone, didn't bother to ring them. (just curious) something new, so probably pricey?

Some details about "Accoya" - 5 Accoya Facts from the Radiata Pine and Use in Joinery

Glad I'm not on the maintenance crews for either of those bridges!
I may be weird, but I'm saving up to become eccentric.

Accoya... almost as durable as a native Australian Class1 hardwood, with far greater opportunities for a 100% markup.

Yes Ray, I sent an email to mate in Holland with the link and his reply prompted me to investigate more....
He said pine originally was imported from California, then New Zealand with some coming from Australia....
