Sourcing Timber-Perth
G'day All,
I was hoping somebody out there might be able to tell me of a Timber supplier in Perth (Preferable North of the river) that sells decent quality timber at a resonable price, I'm not after anything too fancy or exotic, just something a bit better quality and price than Bunnings can offer. I dont make anything tooooooo major I just do a bit of minor furniture making and also make plenty of wood chips on my lathe
Rgds

Or the place that supplies them... Austim. Gnangarra rd Lansdale not far from Waneroo rd. Public welcome. Cleanest, best stocked and most organised timber merchant I've ever seen
They have one of the most impresive lists of WA hardwoods and exotics and at cheaper prices.

No. They stock the usuall local suspects but lots of North American, Asian and African species. If you are after European I can find out where, I just can't remember their name right now. Apparently there's someone bringing in French oak among other things.
