    Default Supplier of camphor laurel slaves

    Hi.
    I am the manufacturer of chopping board with Camphor Laurel timber .
    So I am looking for a long term supplier of camphor laurel timber slaves.
    Is there anyone who can inform that for me?

    I see you've posted this before and did not get a response.

    Jump on gumtree, you can often find plenty of camphor for sale on there. Or google any sawmill from around the norther rivers of NSW and order a truck load and have it delivered to Sydney. Purchasing it green keeps the price down and if you can sticker it you'll do fine.

    What standard of timber you want will affect the price / availability

    Do you want
    sawn staves that are still green
    sawn, air or kiln dried staves,
    or
    staves that are dressed all round to a pre-determined dimension?

    You could also try Trend Timbers at Mulgrave. But I don't know if they stock Camphor Laurel.
    Mulgrave is an outer suburb near Windsor in Sydney's far west.

    Know a lot of these get sold - but being an aromatic timber -probably not the best choice for a cutting board -just sayi'n.
