Thanks Rhys, already a good customer of Carba Tec. My question was really aimed at where to find timber in NZ. Have had some good suggestions though !

Jas that answer was really aimed at Paulb6 who asked for info on tools etc. He should be able to get a plane iron for a No5 by ordering through his local hardware shop and veneers are available through Plyman in The Concourse in Henderson.
