I agree with Kuffy. I think its still moist. That cupping is quite dramatic.
Follow the advice of justonething for straightening.
It wont be in your timeframe, but dont discard the timber, keep it for another project.
Agreed with sharpness and chip breaker location. Planes need to be really sharp. You'll know from the lovely ssssttttt they make
