Default What type of timber is this? Please help.

    Dear All,

Can anyone tell me what type of wood it is?

It came from a 1980s fly screen door.

    Cheers,
    Rich

That's what it may well be then...Cigar Box Cedar or a very light colored Cedar of another variety...very lightweight and termites tend to leave it well alone...MM

Yup. Also called Surian cedar. Same species as Australian Red Cedar.
