Pear, really? Wow. Would some varying photo's and sizing help? I think there is lots more than this too, 7-8 times more but I haven't got it here yet.

Just to muddy the waters a little more, perhaps it could also be camphor laurel.

From photo three, I would say that it is definitely camphor laurel.
Are you sure it is all from the same tree?
