has been an interesting week
Its been a busy week touring around gather wood turning blanks
Lithgow to pick up some Mallee burl ended with around 100kgs. The following day spent the a couple of throughly enjoyable hours with Maurizio in his expansive workshop in Asquith and in his local coffee haunt.Left a couple of blanks in appreciation
This was on-route to Woodnut in Clarence Town on his rural retreat. Enjoyed some very fine country hospitality and fine conversation over some great weighty things as well as small fine food to boot came away with a boot load of Silky Oak one of my favourites.
Tomorrow off to Emerald to see TTIT for a two day woodies event and to score some Gidgee and what ever else I can pry out of them probably have to work for it.
Pics to follow as I m off to a CAD course today all day.Inspiration exists, but it has to find you working. — Pablo Picasso
