Wood suppliers in and around Dubbo NSW.
Hoping this is allowed. Moderator if not, please remove.
I have a buddy working (aircraft mechanic) in Dubbo for another week or so getting an air tanker ready for your fire season. It's an RJ85 if anyone is interested. Then he comes back in January and will work until the airplane returns for the fire season in Western Canada in March. He wants to bring back wood in the aircraft for the flight home. So he is looking to line up some wood suppliers that can sell him some lumber and turning blanks. Anyone have any recommendations for sawyers or suppliers within a couple hours of Dubbo he could go to? I have already found Sparkys Burl & Timber in Parkes.
Thanks
Pete

What about scouring the Market Place on here for timber and getting it delivered to an address (presumably in Dubbo again). A thread with the prefix "Wanted to buy xxxx" could also be started in there, I expect.
Or he could talk the pilot into a trip down to Tasmania and have an absolute ball!
