    Default Yellow flecks in my Silky Oak

    I have a board of quarter sawn Northern Silky Oak, but there are hundreds of little yellow flecks upon the board. They cannot be sanded off. Apart from them, the grain looks beautiful
    Can anyone please suggest what these damn things might be?
