Box joint on WC 2000
I just tried to make a box joint on the WC 2000 with the saw. There is an old video on YouTube that explains how to do it.
Dont bother.
I made the jig. It is difficult to set up unless you are using wood of similar diamentions as in the video. You also have to do your best to set the guide at 0.5mm points.
Anyway I worked through those things and gave it a go. The first 2 cuts were OK but after that it wasnt anywhere near acurate enough.
Admittedly my saw blade is not the best. However the fundamental problem is that the whole setup is not accurate enough for this job.
I don't have a workbench yet but if you have a work bench you would be much better off making this joint by hand.
