Discovered woodworking in my retirement
I've recently retired to the country (Moe 3825) and set up my garage with some Triton Work centres and stuff.
I understand Triton was started here in Australia, but now who knows where its from.
I have noticed some of the Manuals are vague at best, but the problem I'm having at the moment is attaching my Makita Router. While they claim "any router will fit" I can only get 3 of the four clamps, and one of those I have to change from a wing not to a hex nut so I can tighten the clamp. Have any others had these sort of problems in the past.
Looking forward to making good contacts and possibly a friend or two on this site.

When i had my Triton gear "mk3 new series" i had a Ryobi then a Makita 1/4 inch routers fitted I had too grind a bit off the attaching brackets to make them fit around the plunge posts, also you might be able to drill a hole thru the mounting plate for the 4th bracket as long as it doesn't fowl the top.

While I no longer use the Makita in my Triton Table, I did have the Makita 3612 in it for a number of years.
I recall having similar issues and used a normal nut on some of the clamps and modifying one of the clamps as only three fitted naturally.
Unfortunately I don't recall the exact details, but I think I had to cut one of the brackets and either drilled another hole or elongated one of the existing.
I don't think it is too difficult, but it is worth the effort.
Best of luck.

router clamps went through at least 3 versions. Can you show a photo of yours?

Yes any router will fit, but the part they left off is "with a little modification". I had the Makita in mine like Bauldy and had to grind away one side of one of the clamp brackets to get it to clear one of the post supports I think it was. I don't think the Tritor Router was around when the MK3 came out so it wasn't designed only for that.
Welcome to the forum and I hope you do make some friends here.Dallas
