Are these genuine
Saw these advertised on Ebay and was wondering if they were genuine Triton and the price has come down dramatically or are they clones?
Last time I looked most places were selling the MOF for nearly $500.

There's a lot of negative and neutral feedback mainly concerning failure to supply or lengthy delays in supplying products. On their own website the router is marked down from around $900 to $323. Maybe they got hold of some bankrupt stock? If you pay by Paypal the risk is probably fairly minimal. I can't see them being fakes.

I suspect that they are the genuine thing, when I looked at the listing, the box at the bottom for 'other users also looked at' included a TRA at $500+ and two MOF's at $289 and $299. Triton seems to have a thing about price instability, I sometimes wonder whether some suppliers are direct importing from overseas rather than buying from local importer/distributor. Mind you there was a long period of official distributor swapping and very poor parts and user support between when the original Triton company sold up and the current distributor took on the agency, and this basically trained the Aussie customer to get their parts from the UK rather than demand that the local agent provide a decent parts service.
I used to be an engineer, I'm not an engineer any more, but on the really good days I can remember when I was.

Looks like their dumping it, like a number of other previous resellers.

Comparing the two links. The one on eBay is very light on details. First thing I would want to know is what size bits does the machine take?1/4", 8mm, 1/2" or other? The eBay ad makes no mention or any other details like speed, plunge depth or accessories. Hey it may not even have a power lead with an Australian plug. Also note the weight difference 7.2kg V 4.7kg.

I think the Just Tools ad might have got their weights mixed up with the JOF.
