    Default GMC Table Saw Motor Type?

    I want use the motor and turn it into a spindle sander.

    The best option would be to slow the motor down (both for noise and for safety) but to do this i need to know what sort of AC motor this is? Is it able to be controlled by a dimmer switch?

    2nd would be a belt pulley set, (anyone know where to get these btw?) but due to the space this takes I would rather just have a speed controller.

    Any info you have would be awesome, been looking for it but can't find it!
